It seems that My Chemical Romance can’t stand having just one trailer for their new CD/DVD set. Now there’s an extended version of the trailer.
This new trailer includes a lot more of their songs, including one from their album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge - I’m Not Okay - as well as tons from The Black Parade.
In fact, they have clips from my friend Tria’s favorite song, Mama. She’ll love that.
Check it out, and make sure to grab a copy of The Black Parade is Dead! for yourself once it comes out on July 1.
Here’s a brand-new clip from the upcoming Twilight film.
This is the fourth video released by the Official Twilight Film YouTube channel. It was posted approximately 20 hours ago as of this blog posting. I hope you like it!
I’m sure all of you can remember my affinity for Cobra Starship. But if you check out their MySpace page, you’ll find another reason to love the band.
It’s their little campaign, ¡Down with Fur!
There are four options on their page:
“Pledge to be Fur-Free”
“Claim Your Cause on Youth Noise”
“Video | Store”
“Grab It!”
So I chose “Grab It!”

Make yourself known and help support this good cause.
And they say that teenagers can’t do anything!
Check out this article about a high school student who really made an effort to make a difference in the world!
Who’s a manga/anime fan?
Here’s the official trailer for the anime film “xxxHolic: A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” It’s in Japanese, but don’t worry! There are subtitles for you. Hehe. Enjoy.
If you noticed - at the end, there’s a promo for a related movie, Tsubasa RESERvoir CHRoNicle. (Pretty much written JUST LIKE THAT. If I got something wrong, feel free to tell me.
THIS POST IS RATED PG-13, UNLIKE THE REST OF THIS BLOG.
It’s parody day. Because my friend Thunder and I say so.
My Chemical Romance is coming out with a brand-new CD/DVD called The Black Parade is Dead! on June 24, 2008. They made a trailer for it on their official YouTube channel.
I wish I could have gone to one of their concerts! But, then again… they don’t really come around where I live. Not much of a My Chemical Romance market near me. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying The Black Parade is Dead!
Well, after listening to Hold Me, Bat Boy, I’ve decided something about the song from Batboy: The Musical.
It would actually be a good song for Edward Cullen.
(The lyrics I’m referring to can be found in whole here.)
All right. First off, there’s the whole chorus-esque part of the song. Not quite a chorus, the same lines are repeated multiple times:
Oh, hold me, Bat Boy! Touch me, Bat Boy!
Help me through the night.
I hereby reference Twilight for the first time. How many Twilighters revel in the scenes in the beloved teen novels in which Bella practically jumps Edward because he’s so alluring. (Alluring, of course, is the… less suggestive of the terms.)
And, of course, “Help me through the night” would refer to the fact that Edward often spends the night in Bella’s room, just watching her. Kind of creepy, actually.
There is also the reference to “flying through bloody dreams,” which can refer to Edward’s being a vampire. Of course.
In the song, there’s also a more… creepy sequence.
ALL: Oh Hold the Bat Boy-
WOMAN: Won’t you hold him!
ALL: Touch the Bat Boy-
WOMAN: Won’t you touch him!
ALL: Bring him to the light!
WOMAN: Bring him to the light!
We’re assuming that Edward is the “Bat Boy” in this song, and the “Woman” is one of his many fans. So, with that in mind… we can see that Edward is being stalked by a very creepy fangirl of his.
Then, of course, comes the creepiest part of all, which involves Edward and Bella. I’m sure you can figure out yourself what it means.
Love me Bat Boy (Love me Bat Boy)
Save me Bat Boy (Save me Bat Boy)
Sink your fangs into my soul
Only you can make me whole
I know I already posted earlier today, but I just couldn’t resist when I saw the trailer for the upcoming film version of Stephenie Meyers’ hit teen vampire saga Twilight. I’ll post the official YouTube version here:
And there you have it.
Honestly, as a Twilight fan (though not a complete Twilighter - see TwilightGuy.com for more on that) I am not that impressed by the trailer. I was much more impressed with the other videos on the OfficialTwilightFilm profile, including the “Hello, Twilight Fans!” video. I thought it was totally cute! I think the director is pretty cute, actually. She seems like she’d be fun to work for.
As more videos come out, I’ll post more about it.
